Casual Cleaner

Council requires an additional staff member to fill a casual vacancy servicing Council's NDIS participants.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake cleaning / gardening duties as specified in the Position Description.  Indicative hours 7 per week.

The ESSENTIAL requirements and selection criteria for this position are:

Selection Criteria

  • School Certificate
  • 6 - 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and the public
  • Ability to complete standard forms and maintain records
  • Physically capable of carrying out the position
  • Class C drivers licence
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children's Check

Desirable

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Statement of Attainment - Clean premise and equipment

The salary and conditions shall be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2010.  The position has been graded in Council's Salary Structure as Grade 1.  Council is an EEO employer and offers a smoke free workplace.
