Director Community & Tourism

Council is searching for an experienced Local Government Professional to fill our Director Community and Tourism role. The position is a full time permanent role and is a member of our executive team. The successful applicant will bring demonstrated experience relating to operations, leadership and  management of community services and programs. They will have a strong work ethic, demonstrated capabilities and be a trusted and committed part of our leadership team. This position reports directly to the General Manager and is accountable for the Community and Tourism portfolio including Preschool, Community Care, Early Intervention, Library, and Tourism functions of Council.

The salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020, Executive Band 4. Council is an EEO employer, offering flexible working arrangements and is a smoke free workplace.
