Works Manager - Water & Waste

Walcha Council has an exciting opportunity for someone skilled to finalise and implement our new waste strategy, oversee improvements to our water supply, treatment and reticulation and waste water systems.

The role leads a small and diverse team responsible for our water and waste services. The ideal candidate would be degree qualified, experienced in the delivery of works programs and have great communication skills.

The salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020 and will be between $2036.26 to $2160.26 per 35 hour week including Civil Liability Allowance.  The position is also eligible for a Rostered Day Off every 3 weeks and access to a leaseback private use vehicle.  This is a full time permanent position.
